Hear a Clip
Each round opens with a short reference line from the selected Voice Pack. The whole challenge is packed into those few seconds — pitch, pacing, emotion, and pause.
Game loads from a third-party host when you press Play. If the embed doesn't load after clicking, open it in a new tab.
The Choicer Voicer game drops you onto a virtual stage, hits play on a wild audio clip, and dares you to mimic it into your microphone. A row of in-game judges scores your pitch, timing, and delivery - so the funniest voice in the room usually wins.
Grab a friend, load a voice pack, and host a couch round. Or open it in Twitch Mode and let chat vote. Either way, this is the easiest way to play choicer voicer free without installing anything.

ABOUT THE SHOW
The Choicer Voicer is a vocal impression party game built around a five-second idea: play a clip, mimic it, and let a panel of judges rate the take. What started as a one-off joke minigame has grown into a full standalone show — one where the studio, the host, the judges, and even the audio library are all things you swap in yourself.
Each round opens with a short reference line from the selected Voice Pack. The whole challenge is packed into those few seconds — pitch, pacing, emotion, and pause.
You throw your best vocal impression into the microphone while the studio is rolling. No retakes mid-round — what you deliver is what gets judged, so commit to the bit.
Computer judges — or your Twitch chat in stream mode — weigh in on your impression. Highest score at the end of the show takes the trophy. Then everyone argues about it.
Inspired by a fan-favorite Mario Party minigame, The Choicer Voicer takes that single joke and turns it into a full standalone game. The developer, indie creator YeahMaybe, built it around one very specific idea: judged vocal impressions, backed by a pack system flexible enough that the community keeps feeding it new judges, studios, and voice clips like Vintage Memes.
The twist that catches every new player off guard: the base install ships almost empty. The studio is bare, the cast is bare, the clip library is bare. That's the whole point. Whatever you perform against has to come from a Voice Pack you build yourself or grab from another player — which is why no two households playing The Choicer Voicer ever end up with the same show.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
One game, three formats. Pick the studio that fits your night — competitive couch play, a Twitch stream, or a chill dub session.
The classic format. One to four players take turns at the mic in a single studio, the in-game judges score each performance, and the highest total wins the show. Short rounds keep the energy loud and the queue moving.
Run the show solo on stream and let your viewers do the scoring. Twitch chat commands feed straight into a round, and a dedicated content pack type lets viewers vocalize on camera too — turning one stream into an audience-driven segment.
Skip the scoring. Dub Mode plays back a full video scene and lets you record a multi-line voiceover over it — captions, timing, and tone across an entire scene. Freestyle Dub Mode is the loose, unscripted version for casual takes.
THE PACK SYSTEM
Every layer of the show is swappable through a folder. Voice packs supply what you perform against. Judge packs change who's reacting. Studio packs change the backdrop. Host packs change who's narrating. Contestant packs change how you appear on screen.
Making one is intentionally low-effort — drop audio files into a folder, name them correctly, and you have a working pack. No modding tool. No scripting. That's why a small indie party game already has a community churning out meme packs, movie packs, and whole custom studios.
The audio folder you'll be performing against. Drop in movie lines, memes, character voices, or inside jokes and the game instantly recognizes them as playable rounds.
Change who's on the panel — and how they react. A judge pack can even define its own custom score images, so a win or flop looks the way the pack creator wants it to.
The backdrop, the lights, the desk, the audience — the whole visual identity of the show. Swap studios between rounds to keep the format feeling fresh across a long session.
Swap the narrator who runs the show and the on-screen persona you play as. None of it changes the rules, but all of it changes how a session actually feels at 1 a.m.
Specialized packs built for Dub Mode. Each dub pack contains a full scene — captions, video, optional backing track — that a player records over instead of mimicking. Great for character acting and longer performances.
STAGE IN 5 STEPS
From hitting Play to arguing about a final score, the whole loop is five steps. The microphone is the only controller you need.
Open the embedded game above and click into the studio. Most browsers will ask for microphone access — click Allow.
Choose a Voice Pack that fits the room. Inside jokes, classic memes, movie lines — your pack decides the entire mood of the night.
The reference clip plays. Listen for pitch swings, pacing, the little wobble in a voice. That detail is the difference between a 3 and a 9.
When the recording window opens, deliver the line into your mic. Commit. The judges reward confidence, not perfection.
Watch the panel react, see the score, and argue about it. Whoever has the highest total when the show ends wins the trophy.
Swap packs, judges, studios, and hosts to keep the same game loop feeling brand new session after session.
No installs. No signups. Load the page, allow the mic, and you're already in the studio.
Up to four players in the same room, each at the mic. Pass the headphones, take turns, argue about scores.
Twitch Mode turns chat into the judge panel. A dedicated viewer-voice pack type makes the whole stream performable.
FREQUENT QUESTIONS
Quick answers to the questions most new players ask before pressing play.
Yes. The browser version of The Choicer Voicer on this site is free to play — no download, no signup, no payment required. Open the page, allow your microphone, and start a round. The full desktop edition with community packs is sold separately on itch.io.
Not for the browser version. For the full desktop edition (which supports custom community packs, Dub Mode, and Twitch features), head to yeahmaybe.itch.io/the-choicer-voicer for the current Windows and Linux builds.
A studio session supports one to four players taking turns at the microphone in the same room. There is no online multiplayer — everyone needs to be physically present, which is what makes it feel like a real party toy.
Studio mode scores short vocal impressions round by round against computer judges. Dub Mode removes the scoring entirely and lets a player record a multi-line voiceover over an actual scene, with captions and timing. A Freestyle Dub variant exists for looser, unscripted takes.
First, confirm the browser has microphone permission for this page (look for the camera/mic icon in your address bar). If you're on a surround-sound setup, try routing audio through a stereo output device and use a USB or headset microphone. Surround configurations are the most common cause of silent recordings.
Voice Packs are folders of audio clips that supply what you perform against. The base game ships with very little material, so installing or building your own is how most sessions come to life. Building one is as simple as dropping properly named audio files into a folder — no scripting required.
Yes — the browser version works on modern mobile browsers. Allow microphone access when prompted and use headphones to avoid feedback during a round.
This site hosts a browser-friendly build so you can play choicer voicer free online without installing anything. The official desktop release — with the full pack system, Dub Mode, and Twitch features — is sold on itch.io by indie developer YeahMaybe.
